Goodman Dental Care is proud to announce this year’s Donated Dental Day for patients in our community living under the poverty level. For the past 5 years, we have hosted an annual day where we provide patients in our community with free dental care. It is estimated, more than 100 million Americans do not see a dentist regularly due to the cost. With your oral health directly linked to your overall health, we want to help make dental care more attainable for people who otherwise would not be able to afford the services they need. By hosting this annual event, we are able to provide the necessary treatments to those in our community.
Donated Dental Day
As a family dentist, our community and the families in it are the very heart and core of our practice. Our father and son team makes it their mission to keep family the center of our focus when treating our patients. As a result, they decided to create a meaningful way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Goodman Dental Care with the start of Donated Dental Day. By combining their years of experience, the two collaborate with one another to sponsor the event.
Since 1981, Dr. Gary Goodman has helped the residents of Annapolis receive comprehensive dental care through his exceptional dentistry services. A few years ago, his son, Dr. Jeremy Goodman joined the practice to provide patients with the most advanced services. With family the core of their practice, they take every step possible to enhance patient care for the families in the community.
During the event, Goodman Dental Care offers those in the community with a full range of dental services, including same-day crowns for custom restorations. With a large portion of our community living below the federal poverty level, they have a very limited income and no dental insurance. As a result, they are unable to receive the care they need while they wait for their turn at free clinics. We bridge the gap for these patients, allowing them to receive the vital care they need. As a result, we offer these patients the fillings, crowns, root canals, tooth extraction, dental cleanings, and many other dental services they would not be able to receive if it were not for the event.
With this our 6th year offering the event, we have already been able to help multiple patients receive the care they need for enhanced oral health and confidence. As one example, we helped Danijela last year with an anterior bridge. Danijela was suffering from embarrassment and lack of confidence due to a missing front tooth. We restored her confidence and smile with an IPS e.max CAD anterior bridge.
