Searing Toothache<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re experiencing a painful toothache on your vacation, it could be because of a few different reasons. Getting to your dentist to identify the cause is vital. In the meantime, you can try to tackle the pain by rinsing your mouth with lukewarm salt water. Taking acetaminophen or over-the-counter pain reliever can help ease your pain so you can enjoy the rest of your vacation. If you\u2019re experiencing some swelling, applying a cold compress to the outside of your cheek can help bring it down. It\u2019s important to not put heat or aspirin on the affected area because it will just make it worse. Knocked-Out Tooth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve just knocked out one of your teeth, it\u2019s important\nto contact your dentist right away\u2014this can be the difference between saving\nand losing a tooth. If you\u2019re able to get to your dentist in Annapolis within\nan hour, you have a significantly higher chance of having it reattached. While\nyou\u2019re on your way, it\u2019s important to keep your tooth moist without handling it\nby its root.
